Are you an immigrant woman who:
; j5 G/ U$ {' @1 l& G' y
' F, E) ^* p/ q-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
) p. }0 Z" |" k" A( j; s-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

8 ]1 H/ k# m& T& K1 WIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

2 ]3 Z, P# q0 lMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

) T$ s. Z5 u8 `. ?. h6 FTHE COURSE OFFERS:
. X, s0 d* s! Z- m7 k' W$ p
•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
5 w1 v$ j0 E7 Z# }# l1 v$ R5 V8 b•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
. k6 A8 {$ \3 l" K# w/ \, K•        Information about community agencies and services.
# T9 V) S6 j. j" Z$ F0 F•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
9 i" P, t" i( N•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
