As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

0 P9 z, R! N- ~8 e# @' o- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
+ L, i9 _2 f9 h5 D4 u' J- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ' P" D& V- _0 U8 U; E( M+ h& ?/ e
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. + S& c( p8 ]3 _
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 7 S2 f1 Y, z% e0 A) t
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
3 k1 d% t* V' Z3 h5 C; w- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 1 J& e% ?. Q3 o' x. ~

- Previous supervisory experience % u* A- J" U7 q6 A7 O# x: ^: _
- Strong leadership skills
4 O$ h: h$ O; w3 L, y8 i! e" T- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
$ g+ n9 W c' J- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills , k9 [! X& J( c! d% G* T$ v \+ i
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
7 H2 ^5 |6 O6 E+ a) ]- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.( q. Z) n% V9 e3 d2 A7 `1 L
