The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials6 b+ n+ B4 S; J/ X& v# o! p
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials9 d7 p+ F4 f. e4 Q( w4 ^& r
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material" n. p" m3 M7 O9 L& [6 k& k
Must be able to work safely at all times" A9 q' `- U* t- K
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing. S$ u1 w8 @: V" V+ \3 E
High school diploma (Or GED)* \8 ~; x5 H" \) W
Well-articulated and assertive# [+ I% E# E; F$ ? \
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization7 {5 H- a5 U5 n9 _7 u
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
