5 J# C) ?9 ?4 m9 |3 q/ GThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.$ ^$ T, R$ \/ R0 S- v& S H! N# ~- x

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials6 S- a5 C9 ?- m& y
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials, B4 j# b" ^2 k, t" {5 r2 F
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
$ e$ i5 {# ~ w; @+ E+ [" yMust be able to work safely at all times
. Z1 n5 F( Y! E: ~, EBe able to effectively perform tasks independently

Well-articulated and assertive- B1 M# y! O% F2 X& ^1 r4 W% j, ?& k
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization( @1 `5 ~- _- c2 p
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
