Honour Program5 d' _$ L: m6 {) k
1 I7 i: r! ]& f, `2 Q; n% q# j2 } KOur Honors Program is intended to help prepare students for academically challenging high school programs (i.e. International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement)0 _/ r5 O. e8 j/ T* p8 i
There is one class at each grade level. Students take core subjects together while still participating in option classes according to their personal choices. Students in this program are also encouraged to take a leadership role within our school. There may also be opportunities to participate in various academic competitions such as math contests, essay contests, speech competitions and Science Olympics.

As there may be more qualified students for this program than can be accommodated in a single class, selection will be based on achievement, (weighted average on the second progress report). Applicants will be considered in this order, with markes refering to the March progress report.

Students who would like to apply for this program should complete the application form It is to be retrned with the other registration documents by April 30th. Final selections will be made prior to the end of this school year. % f, ~4 d+ ^5 t, T3 B
