" i' C+ q: c' s) b) mAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

7 H' S; L& m' _7 c/ ^* o- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ; u' | e1 G3 a5 t4 B8 M' n/ [
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 9 M) V2 o \& {6 [; X3 L7 n9 [- r8 T
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. * H3 q7 p9 f2 s# }
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
+ ?8 B3 h2 G& }- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
5 L* y; q) {8 t- Q- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

7 l! u: I" [, T9 q( h2 p. `Experience and Education Requirements! [) y0 C) o& E. q' A
* O! [+ V8 ~" V4 g6 B s- Previous supervisory experience 5 O% {: t. k" f" A( ^: B! J% V2 U/ \" E
- Strong leadership skills 4 d) E! F! l8 D* m- O
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
2 V8 d- Q& h) g& u0 U* a) R% r- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills h% U% O# v; J6 U
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
/ G" N- z- d7 s$ {; w4 Z- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques. c- Z( z2 F5 }
