The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.9 o% r _' o- m

Job Responsibilities:

# I! a7 A; j: {( tMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials, c% n+ c# L5 W; g
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
! P( L8 ?9 |$ h9 _$ ? `, ZLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
. ?! Y$ j. K! F- n( g7 o+ }1 ~Must be able to work safely at all times
. E9 q Q# p0 U: h2 k6 kBe able to effectively perform tasks independently; W z w+ z; c0 b& w) S1 ~( `
Performs routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization. ~* R3 J9 O3 Z- t6 U
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos3 B+ v" L% P# K1 v- l
