Highlights of the evening included an onstage Frogger competition with the orchestra playing yyqq0928 accompaniment, an appearance by World of Warcraft composer Russell Brower and a Guitar Hero segment. Mr. Smith, who came dressed as Louis from the recent zombie slaying epic Left 4 Dead (the blood was fake), said that in the end the evening fulfilled him in two very different ways. "What did it for me was the desire to do something new, something fancy," he said. "But it also lets me embrace the child, the part that loves video games."
