Job Description : Description of Accountability 0 D0 F' V" Q. |; |; P" m, ]: h
. l4 b/ l* s: {8 \# X2 Q& k9 {: f1 HAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

" M% w2 p5 m/ {* Y6 [/ x- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 w8 F. {* v- n- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
8 P: r7 z9 Z# Y0 C8 V- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. & T- J9 c( N4 b! M# a9 E# ^: Z
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
- ? Q/ _+ Q3 g6 w. c) D6 n8 _- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: B* q' n- D- p- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
6 D8 Z, D" G: u* @, U! h! ~, z g i% P- Managing shift expense budgets.

# N. U1 x' A: cExperience and Education Requirements3 l& ?1 S1 S+ M9 [- L
: N# Z+ V `2 u2 p: t8 }5 J- Previous supervisory experience 2 g+ U+ z p1 Y3 R
- Strong leadership skills ! X5 T- T3 q% s0 U# \. f* `/ }9 P
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma % ]: z& m+ J4 U" B
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills # E. l5 i9 H o( k" N
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations # y! V7 c D" r( i( }
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
